KIRBY CARDIGAN

Kirby (by Åsa Buchta) is a sweet, top down baby cardigan featuring a simple lace motif on the yoke. This would be a great first sweater as it’s small, fun to knit, and relatively easy. Sign-up at the bottom of the page.
THE PATTERN
The Kirby Cardigan is designed for ages 3 months to 24 months, so whether that little one in your life is already walking or has yet to be born, there’s a size to fit them. The cardigan was designed for and originally knit in Berroco Vintage baby—which provides warmth and comfort on delicate skin without sacrificing ease of maintenance (it can be machine washed and dried!)—but feel free to use your favorite yarn. We just always recommend trying to find a machine washable yarn given how many messes a baby can make!
